Closing date: 18 February. Pay: up to £29,500 (pro rata) for unqualified Lecturers and up to £39,725 (pro rata) for qualified Lecturers. Additional targeted retention incentive payments may apply for FE teachers.

Overview

What You’ll Be Doing
- Teach a range of hospitality and catering programmes.
- Develop new and existing courses.
- Support recruitment and guidance for learners.
- Deliver high‑quality teaching and assessment.
- Provide assignment and assessment material.
- Produce lesson and learning plans and assessment schedules.
- Evaluate and provide feedback on learner performance.
- Attend curriculum meetings and contribute to quality improvement.
- Ensure safe working practices across the programme area.
Key Roles and Accountabilities
- Teach across associated programmes and support functional skills.
- Use new technology to enhance learning, teaching and assessment.
- Manage curriculum coordination and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain learner Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and performance records.
- Collaborate with other departments where required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Appropriate academic or professional qualification.
- Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain a Certificate in Education and Training within two years.
- Minimum level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Recent experience in the hospitality or catering industry.
- Experience in teaching and organisational skills.
- Ability to develop courses and understand assessment procedures.
