About the role
Heart of Supply is seeking secondary subject specialists to join our growing network of teachers supporting schools across Lincolnshire. These flexible roles include day-to-day cover, short-term assignments and long-term opportunities in a variety of subjects, from core curriculum areas like English, Maths, and Science, to Humanities, PE, Computing, and beyond.
You’ll be stepping into different school communities, delivering pre-set work or your own subject expertise, maintaining positive behaviour, and supporting continuity in learning. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or a confident ECT, this is a great way to build relationships, grow your classroom experience and discover schools that align with your values and strengths.
About the schools
We work in partnership with a wide range of Lincolnshire secondary schools, from inclusive mainstream academies and faith schools to specialist SEND and alternative provision settings. Our partner schools are welcoming, well‑resourced, and committed to providing students with meaningful, engaging learning, even when their usual teacher is absent. Whatever your subject or background, we’ll match you with schools where you can make a real impact, and feel supported along the way.
What you will need:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent UK secondary classroom experience
- Subject knowledge and the flexibility to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Strong behaviour management rooted in respect and clarity
- Confidence in building quick rapport with students and staff
- A proactive, adaptable attitude and a genuine passion for your subject
- A minimum of 6 weeks’ UK teaching experience (including placements)
