Role: Primary Supply Teacher

Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire

Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term)

Start date: As soon as possible

Salary: £125.00-£232.57 per day (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications).

About the role

Heart of Supply is welcoming passionate Primary Supply Teachers to join our growing team, supporting fantastic schools in Sleaford and the surrounding areas. We offer flexible roles across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, from day-to-day cover to short and longer-term placements, giving you the freedom to work in a way that suits you.

As a supply teacher, you\’ll step into the classroom to deliver engaging lessons, follow prepared plans and provide a calm, structured learning environment in the absence of the usual class teacher. Your ability to build quick rapport, manage behaviour positively, and adapt with confidence will be key.

Whether you\’re delivering early phonics in Reception or supporting Year 6 through SATs prep, your energy, professionalism and consistency will make all the difference to the pupils you support.

What you will need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
  • A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
  • The ability to follow pre‑set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
  • Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
  • A minimum of 6 weeks\’ teaching experience in the UK
