About the role

Heart of Supply is working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the heart of Lincoln, who are seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher specialising in Spanish to join their team from April 2026 through to the end of the academic year. This is a full-time opportunity within a supportive and friendly school environment, where you will take on full teaching responsibilities, delivering engaging and high-quality Spanish lessons up to Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong subject knowledge in Spanish, confident and effective classroom practice, and a genuine passion for inspiring students in language learning.

What you will need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent UK secondary classroom experience
  • Strong subject knowledge in Spanish, with the ability to deliver engaging and structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Confident and consistent behaviour management strategies, with the ability to set clear expectations and maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships quickly with students, staff and the wider school community
  • Resilience, adaptability and a proactive approach, with the confidence to respond effectively in a dynamic classroom setting
  • A genuine passion for Spanish and for supporting students to achieve their potential
  • A minimum of 6 weeks’ UK teaching experience (including placements)
