About the role

At Heart of Supply, we are excited to be advertising a lovely opportunity for a Nursery Teaching Assistant in the LN2 area of Lincoln, on a full-time, temporary basis through to July. This role is ideal for someone with a Level 3 Early Years qualification, or equivalent, who enjoys supporting pupils during their early learning journey and being a positive, caring presence in the classroom each day. You will work closely with staff to help children learn through play, routines and structured activities, while building confidence and curiosity in a safe and nurturing setting. The role offers a daily rate of £93 to £105, depending on experience, role and qualifications, and is a great chance to make a real impact with pupils while gaining valuable experience within an early years environment.

What you will need:

  • Experience supporting children in a school, nursery, or education-based setting
  • Clear, professional communication and a proactive, reliable attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with school staff
  • A minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working with children in a similar setting in the UK
  • A kind, confident, and calm approach, with a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
  • The ability to follow a teacher’s lead while using your initiative to support individuals and small groups
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs would be advantageous
  • A flexible and proactive attitude, ready to step into different classrooms and year groups
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
