About the role:

Heart of Supply is currently seeking Primary School Teachers to work with our partner schools in Gainsborough and the surrounding areas. These flexible Primary School Teacher roles include day-to-day supply, short-term roles, and longer-term placements across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. You’ll work across a variety of school settings, delivering engaging lessons, following prepared plans, and helping to ensure continuity and a positive learning environment when the regular class teacher is unavailable.

We’re looking for confident, adaptable Primary School Teachers who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff, manage behaviour effectively, and bring both enthusiasm and reassurance into the classroom. Successful candidates will be reliable, proactive, and flexible, able to step comfortably into new environments, whether supporting early phonics in Reception or leading revision with a Year 6 class.

What you will need:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
  • A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
  • The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
  • Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
  • A minimum of 6 weeks’ teaching experience in the UK

What we offer you:

  • Competitive weekly PAYE pay
  • Roles tailored to your lifestyle, day-to-day or longer term
  • Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools
  • A friendly, experienced consultant who listens
  • Free CPD and ongoing professional development
  • A simple ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme
  • A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey

We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.
