Do you want a rewarding career in care where you can really make a difference every day? We are looking for Support Workers who share our vision to join our vibrant and diverse team in Evesham. We have a 40 hour per week contract available on a permanent basis. You will be working in our 6 bed residential setting (soon growing to an 8 bed) supporting our customers with a range of learning disabilities.
This role would include assisting and prompting with personal care, medication, and helping to prepare meals and daily living tasks alongside going out in the community and supporting our customers with their hobbies and interests. Some of our customers enjoy horse riding, swimming and trampolining whilst others prefer to spend time outside visiting the local shops or going to the park. We also have days out visiting working farms etc. Take part in cycling, baking and arts and crafts, so being supportive of these activities is paramount.
We have a car at Ashgrove, this means other activities can be accessed. If you are a driver this would be ideal! The service itself is only a 5 minute drive to Evesham town or a short walk to the supermarket and local shops and restaurants. There is driveway parking with good public transport links.
Shift patterns within this service include 7am - 3pm or 2.30pm - 10pm. We also have sleep in shifts available from 2.30pm or 10pm (paying £70.47 per sleep in). In our latest inspection, we were rated GOOD by CQC! Some previous care experience is preferred however full training will be provided - after all, good care comes from the HEART.
