Assistant Manager - Bewiched Coffee (Heart of England Co-operative Society) Warwick | 30 hours per week | Permanent Help us launch something exciting in Warwick! A brand-new Bewiched Coffee shop is coming to Warwick, and we're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Manager to help bring it to life. In partnership with the Heart of England Co-operative Society, Bewiched is renowned for expertly crafted coffee, delicious food, welcoming spaces and outstanding customer service. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the founding team of a new store, helping to create a destination that customers will love and colleagues will be proud to work in. As Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the Shop Manager to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of the coffee shop, leading by example and helping to create an exceptional experience for both customers and colleagues. Support the recruitment, training and development of colleagues Lead shifts confidently, ensuring the store operates efficiently and safely Champion Bewiched's high standards of quality, service and presentation Build strong relationships with customers and the local community Assist with stock control, ordering and inventory management Ensure food safety, health and safety and company procedures are followed at all times Support the management of rotas and labour planning Support commercial performance Assist in achieving sales, profitability and operational targets Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve results Support promotional activities and local initiatives to drive customer engagement Previous experience in a supervisory, assistant manager or team leader role within hospitality, retail or a coffee shop environment Strong communication and people management skills Commercial awareness and an understanding of store performance measures Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays Previous coffee shop experience is desirable, but equally important is your ability to lead a team and create a fantastic customer experience.
