Bewiched Coffee is opening a new shop in Coventry this November and is looking for an exceptional Coffee Shop Manager to lead the store as part of the Heart of England Co-operative Society. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape a new team, embed our culture, and establish Bewiched as the go-to coffee destination within the local community.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading & Developing the Team: You will be a visible role model, motivating and engaging baristas and supervisors to create a positive, inclusive and high-performing environment. You’ll recruit, train, coach and develop your team, celebrating success and managing performance effectively.
  • Delivering Outstanding Customer Service: You’ll ensure consistently exceptional customer experiences by delivering brand-standard, handcrafted coffee and food, living the Bewiched ‘Big 5’ and bringing our core values to life every day.
  • Managing Store Operations & Standards: From opening and closing the store to maintaining outstanding hygiene, food safety and health & safety standards, you’ll take full ownership of operational excellence, ensuring all checks, audits and procedures are completed to the highest standard.
  • Driving Sales & Commercial Performance: You’ll actively drive sales through great service, upselling and team engagement, while managing stock, cash handling, ordering and wastage to deliver strong commercial results.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in customer service, ideally within coffee, hospitality or food retail.
  • Proven leadership capability with the ability to inspire, coach and develop a team.
  • A positive, proactive and professional approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Calm under pressure and confident working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings and weekends.
