Heart of Birmingham Vocational College (HBVC) is a leading SEND provider that delivers full‑time Study Programmes designed to give learners with diverse needs individualised learning experiences and develop key employability and supported living skills.
About the role
HBVC is recruiting two full‑time, permanent Tutors for our Birmingham and Redditch campuses. The Tutors will lead new core learner groups, delivering engaging and inclusive sessions to 8–14 learners, helping them build confidence, independence and real‑life skills. Training will be provided for the bespoke curriculum, which includes Personal Development, Employability Skills, English, Maths and Independent Living Skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality teaching across the curriculum.
- Provide individualised support to learners with diverse and additional needs.
- Facilitate learner development of confidence, independence and real‑life skills.
- Collaborate closely with the Teaching & Learning team.
- Maintain accurate records and assessment data.
