At Heart Mind Talent we're proud to partner with one of the UK’s fastest-growing, AI-native consumer startups. Currently at Series A, they are growing at a staggering 3,000% year-on-year and are backed by really strong VCs. They aren't just building an app; they are building one of the most ambitious consumer AI systems in the UK. Their mission is to automate the complexity of household finances, saving time and money for millions of people. With an NPS of +80, they are proving that finance doesn't have to be frustrating, it can feel like magic.
This is not a traditional Customer Ops role. We are looking for a builder. As an Operations & Automation Associate, you will sit at the intersection of operations, product, and AI. You will be tasked with understanding the "manual" friction of a hyper-growth business and building the automated systems that replace it. You’ll be close enough to the frontline to see the problems, and technical enough to build the solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- System Architecture: Turning messy, manual processes into elegant, automated workflows using AI and internal tooling.
- Root Cause Analysis: Digging into broken processes to find out why they failed and ensuring they never fail the same way again.
- AI Implementation: Moving work out of inboxes and into AI-assisted operational systems.
- High-Agency Ownership: Working alongside a seasoned founding team to help create the operating model that allows the business to scale from hundreds of thousands to millions of users.
The Environment
- AI-Native: This company doesn't just sell AI; they live it. You’ll be expected to use AI to its full potential to streamline your own work.
- We believe the best products are built through in-person, high-context collaboration. We operate a hybrid model: 3 days in our vibrant Farringdon office for team-syncs and creative energy, and 2 days remote for deep, focused work.
- High Talent Density: No middle management layers. Just smart, high-agency people who move fast and think deeply.
About You
You are likely an ambitious generalist who is "technical-curious." You don’t need to be a Software Engineer, but you should be the person who automates your own life with scripts, shortcuts, or AI tools.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- 2–5 years of experience in Operations, Consulting, Product Ops, or a high-growth startup environment.
- A "Builder" Mindset: You aren't satisfied with doing manual work; you want to fix the process so the work disappears.
- Technical Agility: You pick up new tools (Zapier, Retool, AI LLMs, etc.) faster than anyone else you know.
- Exceptional Communication: You can distill complex operational problems into clear documentation or Slack updates.
- High Agency: You don't wait for a playbook; you enjoy writing the new one.
Why Apply?
Most companies promise you’ll be "close to the action." This company is giving you the keys to the engine room. If you want to see how a generational company is built from the inside out, this is the role for you.
