Our client, a specialist provider, is seeking an experienced Children’s Registered Manager to oversee a residential care home in Manchester. This vital leadership role offers the opportunity to positively influence the wellbeing and development of children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Responsible Individual to safely manage and operate a children’s residential care home
  • Hold and maintain OFSTED registration for the children’s home
  • Ensure the service consistently meets OFSTED standards and regulations
  • Lead and develop a team of deputies, team leaders, and support workers
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and implement continuous improvements
  • Administer the budget and manage resource allocation
  • Work closely with the senior management team to ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
  • Provide expert support to staff and uphold high standards of care and safeguarding
Qualifications
  • Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • Experience as a Deputy or Registered Manager within a children’s residential setting
  • Valid driving licence
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
  • Additional qualifications in childcare or social care
  • Experience working within OFSTED-regulated services
