About the Role
Heart Dental is seeking an experienced and driven Practice Manager with a proven track record of team leadership and operational excellence. You will play a vital role in fostering a cohesive, well-run practice that consistently meets stringent CQC standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, a talent for hitting performance KPIs, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinicians and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
- People Management: Lead, inspire, and manage all practice employees, providing ongoing training and professional development. Drive high performance across the team to ensure operational, compliance, and financial targets are met. Work closely with clinicians to support target delivery, review performance data, and agree on action plans to meet contractual goals.
- Compliance & CQC: Maintain full compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards through meticulous adherence to legal, regulatory, and company frameworks. Act as the designated CQC Registered Manager for the practice.
- Operations: Ensure the smooth, compliant day-to-day running of the practice by strictly adhering to company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Partner collaboratively with the Support Office and Contact Centre to drive financial and operational KPIs. Develop an annual strategic plan outlining actionable steps and timeframes to achieve EBITDA targets.
- Finance: Deliver on financial performance and KPIs—including cost control, payroll management, agency spend, and clinician/hygiene pay structures in alignment with company guidelines.
