Dental Receptionist in Crawley, West Sussex

Heart Dental have an exciting position for a Dental Receptionist you will be the first person the patient sees upon entering the practice.

The main purpose of the job is to provide friendly and efficient front-of-house service to patients and visitors, book appointments and support the organisation.

Desirable Qualities

Responsibilities and duties:

Answering the phone in a polite and timely manner

Booking and changing appointments both in-person and over the phone

Ensuring patients are booked in upon arrival and the clinicians are made aware.

Dealing with incoming enquiries from patients, in person, over the phone or via email.

Sending communications to patients using their chosen method.

General administration such as scanning or photocopying.

Ensure patient records are kept up to date and stored securely.

Qualities

Good, friendly telephone manner

Knowledge of diaries and appointments systems.

Work systematically and communicate to team members effectively.

Ability to manage phone systems, email correspondence, and face-to-face queries

Following instructions and processes under the guidance of your manager

Good organisation and processing skills

Ability to apply policies into practice regarding GDPR, Complaints, information governance

Ability to work under pressure and work as a team
