Salary: £40,000-£45,000 - Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise.
The Role: As the Style & Interiors Editor on Country Living (FTC) you will be creating inspiring content across print, digital and live platforms. This is a hands‑on editorial role for someone with a confident interiors eye and excellent writing skills, who can bring the brand’s vision to life through strong storytelling, inspiring imagery and well‑curated shopping content.
Main Duties:
- Create and deliver seasonal, decorating, interiors and shopping features for print, including writing and image research for both the Welcome To section and the main decorating story.
- Write and research the artisan How‑to‑make feature for the main magazine.
- Edit, package and deliver content for key print supplements, including Kitchens & Bathrooms, the Pre‑Christmas Guide and the Christmas Gift Guide.
- Supply relevant editorial copy for bookazines, including shopping pages for Vintage, Modern Rustic, and four seasonal titles.
- Write at least one daily decorating or shopping story for digital platforms, ensuring all content supports ecommerce goals and performance targets.
- Publish and manage organic social media content in line with brand tone and audience strategy.
- Host and participate in workshops and live experiences at Country Living events.
- Provide ad hoc styling support for Country Living events, both internal (such as member talks or workshops) and external (including the Country Living Market at Good Housekeeping Live).
- Advise and collaborate with external stylists on licensing stands and brand representation.
- Support key editorial moments as required, including styling cover shoots.
