Hearst UK operate a hybrid working model of four days per week in the office and one day working from home. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James’s, London, SW1Y 4AJ, where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.
The Role… As the Global Account Manager (Italian speaking), you will join Hearst UK at an exciting time, playing a key role in delivering innovative, multi-market campaigns across our global portfolio. Working closely with the Head of Account Management and international sales teams, you’ll lead on responding to client briefs across Italy and Spain, building impactful media plans and driving strong commercial outcomes. This is a highly collaborative, client-facing role where you’ll manage campaigns end-to-end while building relationships across global markets and internal teams.
Main Duties…
- Respond to international client briefs and RFPs, creating compelling multi-market media plans aligned to client objectives and commercial targets.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and global sales teams, ensuring seamless collaboration across markets including content, paid media and display.
- Lead campaign delivery end-to-end, working with syndication, paid media and local market teams to ensure smooth execution and high-quality output.
- Monitor campaign performance against KPIs, providing regular updates and managing optimisations to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.
- Manage all pre-sales and campaign administration, including pipeline tracking, insertion orders, and coordination with finance and operational teams.
- Support client communication throughout the campaign lifecycle, delivering updates, reporting and post-campaign analysis with clear insights and recommendations.
- Maintain and grow relationships with global publishers and stakeholders across the Hearst network, ensuring best-in-class service and future opportunities.
What We Are Looking For…
- Fluency in Italian is essential; Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
- Experience in account management, media planning or a client-facing commercial role within digital media or advertising.
- Strong understanding of international markets, with awareness of cultural and commercial nuances across regions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Commercially driven with a strong focus on delivering results and excellent client service.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills, comfortable working with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
- Collaborative and adaptable, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and markets.
- Strong understanding of digital media, including content, social and display campaigns.
