ABOUT THE ROLE
You will design and support the team on Country Living and House Beautiful to maintain the quality of work. This is from initial design concept through to the final product. You will be responsible for supporting the Design Director to ensure the perfect execution of the vision of the Editor-in-Chief as well as working alongside other designers to liaise on style and ensure brand identity.
- Designing across both the Country Living & House Beautiful brands, including for: Print, Video, Marketing assets, Social Media and all multi-channel platforms
- All retouching of high resolution images
- Ensuring pages are of an excellent design standard and taking in all amends within the workflow system
- Attend art meetings and generate exciting ideas for layout of all features and regular pages
- Working within a content asset management system
ABOUT YOU
- Ability to work effectively to meet deadlines
- Agile working – able to design across both titles on all multi-platform offerings
- Able to build close working relationships with the entire team and clearly understand the vision of each brand
- Enthusiasm and endless supply of new ideas
- A passionate approach to work
- The ability to think creatively
- Self-motivated
- Exceptional skillset using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, plus a good working knowledge of Adobe After Effects and additional apps would be beneficial
- Some experience already working as a Designer on a publication in the consumer magazine market and digital experience
- Experience working within a Mac OS system
