Salary - Circa 50,000 - Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise.

The primary objective of the Commerce Partnerships Manager is to drive growth in Commerce revenues through negotiating competitive Affiliate deals with top revenue driving merchants, and by establishing and executing eCommerce strategies with the editorial team. You will also be responsible for leading negotiations on Affiliate Tenancies, and Digital Shopping partnerships across multiple verticals.

Main Duties
  • Define and deliver affiliate and commerce strategies across key verticals to achieve brand, audience, and revenue growth goals.
  • Manage and grow relationships with affiliate merchants, retailers, and networks, negotiating commission rates, tenancy deals, and new partnership opportunities.
  • Lead data analysis, reporting, and performance optimisation using affiliate platforms and analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Drive growth across eCommerce traffic streams and shopping propositions, working closely with editorial, audience development, and advertising teams.
  • Oversee the execution and optimisation of affiliate campaigns, tenancy activity, paid search/social, and seasonal shopping events such as Black Friday and Prime Day.
  • Manage communications with editorial teams around deals, promotions, exclusives, and affiliate opportunities, ensuring content is commercially optimised.
  • Act as a strategic ambassador for Hearst UK, contributing to wider business objectives and supporting additional responsibilities as required.
What We Are Looking For
  • 3–4 years’ experience within the affiliate industry, with a strong understanding of affiliate programmes and tenancy in digital media.
  • Strong commercial and sales skills, with the ability to sell complex packages and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Advanced Excel, reporting, and data analysis skills, including interpreting affiliate KPIs such as EPC, CPA, and CPC, and identifying trends/anomalies across datasets.
  • Confident presenting data and insights to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage deadlines and work proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to contribute to wider business strategy.
  • Passion for and understanding of Hearst’s brands, audience, and editorial values.
