We’re the UK’s leading premium publisher, and the people behind iconic media brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar and Country Living. We’ve created a working environment that encourages everyone to pull together. We never stop looking for brave new ideas. We’ll always try to develop and improve, we trust each other to do our best, and we have fun as we build on our heritage to make history.
As our Travel Partnerships Executive you will play an integral role in delivering the Brand Plans for Hearst UK’s biggest brands. Working with a high degree of entrepreneurialism and autonomy, you will take full end-to-end ownership of planning, securing, and delivering commercial partnerships within the travel category, in order to hit agreed revenue KPIs that both enhance the member experience and drive commercial revenue. You will act as a key connector between editorial, customer, and commercial teams, playing a critical role in maintaining and accelerating the growth momentum of brands across our portfolios.
Main Duties
- Travel Partnerships: End-to-end ownership of planning, securing and delivering commercial member/customer travel offers to hit agreed revenue KPIs. You will lead the negotiation of profitable partnerships that enhance the member experience and align with (and amplify) brand plans. This includes shaping compelling, compliant propositions and communications, managing timelines, and ensuring accurate budgeting, reporting and forecasting.
- Partner Outreach: Proactively build and maintain relationships with key travel industry contacts, identifying new opportunities and keeping relevant Hearst stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Relationship Development: Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external travel partners (hotels, tour operators, airlines, tourist boards and PR agencies) to develop experiences that reflect each brand’s positioning and audience needs.
- Marketing Planning & Delivery: Work closely with central design, production and marketing planning teams to schedule and deliver promotions that maximise revenue. Manage collateral end-to-end, including copy, approvals, asset management and deadlines.
- Financial Reporting: Ensure full and accurate reporting on booked and received revenue. Establish a clear process with partners and Finance so Hearst UK has visibility of expected revenue and payments, based on booking volumes and departure dates.
- Legal & Contracting: Partner with Legal to ensure contracts and delivery are commercially optimised and fully compliant (including data management, labelling, and delivery of agreed contractual elements).
- Experience Design & Delivery: Collaborate with customer, editorial and events teams to ensure all member/customer touchpoints are brand-worthy and optimised for conversion, cross-sell, and feedback/data capture. You may be required to attend selected branded trips as a Hearst ambassador, helping to ensure smooth delivery and a great member experience.
- Collaboration & Ownership: Work closely with PD/MD, the Membership Director (CL), the Client Partner for Travel and wider commercial teams to ensure clarity of ownership, joined-up planning and no duplication.
- Wider Brand Partnerships: Support PD/MD, the Membership Director (CL), and wider commercial and editorial teams to identify and cultivate profitable partnership opportunities outside of travel, as required, to help deliver agreed KPIs.
- Financial Planning, Budgeting & Business Planning: Support the preparation of annual budgets and business plans, working closely with senior leadership to ensure forecasts, priorities and commercial plans are clear, realistic and trackable.
What We Are Looking For
