The Role
As the Global Account Manager, you will manage global opportunities from brief stage to final report across Hearst's worldwide digital portfolio. You will own the pre‐sale process – shaping smart, multi‐market media strategies that bring creative ideas to life. Along the way, you will be the key connector, managing client and sales conversations while building strong relationships with Hearst publishers around the world.
Main Duties
- Management of global client opportunities from brief to proposal, leading the response to RFPs by shaping media strategies across multiple international markets.
- Maintain a strong understanding of global media products, innovations, and market nuances, proactively identifying opportunities to add value for clients and sales teams.
- Act as the main point of contact to internal sales teams, managing communication, expectations, and relationships throughout the process.
- Build compelling, insight‐led campaign proposals by selecting the right mix of digital, print, social, content, and event solutions to meet client objectives.
- Coordinate with international publisher teams and internal specialists to confirm inventory, costs, timelines, and delivery of campaigns.
- Oversee campaign delivery end‐to‐end, tracking performance against KPIs, resolving issues, and ensuring a consistently high standard of client service.
- Manage reporting and post‐campaign analysis, turning results into clear insights and recommendations to support renewals and future growth.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience managing digital and multi‐market media campaigns, with clear ownership from brief through delivery and reporting.
- Strong commercial and sales mindset, with the ability to shape proposals, negotiate with stakeholders, and contribute to revenue growth.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working across multiple teams and territories.
- Highly organised and detail‐oriented, able to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously in a fast‐paced environment.
- Proactive, collaborative, and solutions‐focused, with the confidence to challenge, influence, and problem‐solve to deliver the best outcome for clients.
Salary Circa £35,000 – salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate's skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise.
