Hearst UK operates an in office policy with flexible Fridays. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 4AJ, where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.

Salary - Circa £35,000 - Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise.

The Role: As Agency Development Manager, you will own commercial campaigns from pitch through to completion, focusing on some of Hearst’s biggest opportunities outside of our largest strategic accounts. You will play a key role in building and maintaining Hearst’s reputation as a leading publisher across agency teams, driving revenue growth across display, partnerships and key commercial channels.

This is an exciting opportunity for either an established Manager looking to take the next step in their career, or an experienced Senior Executive ready for a new challenge. We are looking for someone with a strong appetite for new business, a passion for relationship building and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Main Duties:
  • Build, grow and maintain strong relationships with agency partners, acting as the primary contact for campaign responses and execution across a portfolio of accounts.
  • Identify proactive commercial opportunities and generate new business across both existing and prospective agency relationships.
  • Lead regular agency meetings, business reviews, immersion sessions, presentations and drop-in sessions, sharing campaign performance, market insights and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure agency partners are consistently updated on Hearst developments, products, commercial opportunities and market positioning across all key channels.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Managers and Creative Strategy teams during brainstorms to translate ideas into commercially effective campaign strategies.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Hearst’s full product offering and confidently position Hearst’s proposition against competitors and wider media channels.
  • Accurately manage pipeline activity and booked revenue through Salesforce, ensuring reporting and forecasting remain up to date.
  • Act as an ambassador for Hearst UK and its values, while undertaking any additional duties appropriate to your skills, qualifications and experience.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a commercial media, agency sales or partnerships role, ideally with 2+ years’ experience.
  • Strong existing agency relationships, or a proven ability to build and develop them quickly.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence at all levels.
  • A strong understanding of the digital, print, partnerships and events landscape, alongside a commercially driven mindset.
  • A proactive and highly motivated approach, with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems and drive revenue growth.
  • Strong organisational, prioritisation and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail and time management.
  • A collaborative, adaptable and personable approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
