Good Housekeeping’s Kitchen Junior Food Content Producer will help bring the brand to life through accessible, fun and enticing multiplatform food content. You will work with the GH Kitchen team to ensure a daily pulse of high quality, on-brand food content. You will be based in our new in-house demo and test kitchen space in central London and will play a key role in our digital output.

Main Duties
  • Play a key role in the digital production of our food content, including website, recipe app, newsletters and social.
  • Upload content to the CMS using SEO guidance and monitor performance where needed.
  • Work with GH’s SEO manager to strengthen rankings of core galleries and collections.
  • Use best SEO practice to keep key recipes updated.
  • Contribute to GH’s newsletter strategy, curating content and building newsletters that contribute to traffic and subscriber growth.
  • Be part of a team that uses analytics to track multiplatform progress, adjust and develop a food strategy that grows traffic and returning users.
  • Write food content for the site, staying aware of and reactive to the latest trends in food.
  • Help create exciting, enticing yet accessible recipes that fit GH’s brand values across GH platforms.
  • Work closely with the GH Kitchen team to ensure recipe content is of the highest quality and consistently relevant for the audience.
  • Collaborate with GH’s Social Media Manager to create and maintain an on-brand food strategy across platforms including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
  • Assist with the organisation and hosting of member events.
  • Identify key food and drinks trends and monitor competition to stay ahead.
What We Are Looking For
  • Demonstrable experience in a digital-first environment, including proficiency with a CMS.
  • Cookery qualification or 2+ years’ experience in recipe development from ideation to final production.
  • Experience with video, including self-shooting and editing.
  • Ability to identify key cookery trends and monitor competition to stay ahead in the market.
  • Team player with a positive, flexible approach and the ability to pivot to new workflow demands.
