Working for the Marcomms department at Hearst Networks, this role is responsible for the trade marketing directed to advertisers and corporate and trade comms for the company and the portfolio of channels. The B2B Marketing and Communications Manager - Ad Sales and Corporate will proactively publicise and promote the company’s identity and profile, as well as its people, initiatives, and brands in the UK, and coordinate key outputs on an EMEA level. The role will work closely with our Sponsorship and Partnership team and Sky Media agency to support revenue-driven marketing initiatives directed at prospects and clients. The role reports to the Head of B2B, supervises the work of an external public relations agency, and collaborates with cross functional departments. This is an 8-month Fixed-term contract position. This role will be hybrid based in the London office, working on award-winning brands like Sky HISTORY, Crime+Investigation, BLAZE and Hearst CANVAS.
Key Trade Marketing (Ad Sales) Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver trade marketing strategies that support Ad Sales revenue targets
- Create impactful sales materials (presentations, one-pagers, decks) to support agency and client conversations
- Partner with Sales teams to respond to briefs with compelling, insight-led narratives
- Translate programming slates into commercially attractive opportunities for advertisers
- Identify and package sponsorship and partnership opportunities
- Strengthen the positioning of the network’s brands within the advertising market
- Ensure consistent messaging across all trade communications
- Manage presence at key industry events, trade press, and awards
- Leverage audience data, research, and market insights to create persuasive sales stories
- Develop thought leadership content to position the business as a leader in the market
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
- Act as a key link between Ad Sales, Marketing, Programming, and Creative teams
- Collaborate with external partners (agencies, platforms, production companies where relevant)
- Manage internal approval processes and ensure alignment across teams
- Brief and manage creative teams to produce high-quality B2B assets
- Oversee production of sales reels, case studies, and branded content materials
Key Corporate Communications Responsibilities:
- Implement the corporate communications strategy aligned with business objectives
- Maintain a clear, consistent corporate narrative across all channels
- Support leadership in articulating company vision, priorities, and performance
- Drafting press releases, announcements, and media relations
- Manage relationships with key media and industry press
- Identify opportunities to raise the company’s profile through thought leadership and commentary
- Oversee corporate announcements such as content slates, partnerships, and business updates
- Support the delivery of internal communications plans to engage and inform employees
- Support leadership communications, including town halls, presentations, and key updates
- Support crisis communications and issues management when required
- Ensure messaging is clear, timely, and aligned during sensitive situations
- Monitor media coverage and manage reputational risks
- Work closely with senior leadership, HR, Legal, and Marketing teams
- Align with Ad Sales and B2B Marketing on corporate messaging for partners and clients
- Coordinate messaging across multiple business areas to ensure consistency
- Oversee corporate content across owned channels (website, LinkedIn, newsletters)
- Manage tone of voice and messaging standards
- Support development of key materials such as reports, decks, and speeches
Administrative / Support Tasks:
- Raising Pos and invoices
- Ensuring budget tracker is up to date
- Look after the company customer service

Minimum Requirements:
- Proven track-record of writing accurate and compelling copy.
- Previous PR or Marketing experience either at a broadcaster, in-house or with a PR agency.
- Computer skills: good knowledge of Microsoft office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word etc.).
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage workloads and to meet deadlines.
Desirable Requirements:
- Passionate about communications and television.
- Experience in broadcasting / TV, media, or advertising.
- Understanding of Ad Sales environments and revenue‑driven marketing.
- Ability to develop thought leadership or insight‑led campaigns.
