The Role…

As a member of the Wellness hub, you will work closely with the Creative Director and Art Director to bring design flair to all four titles. You will also collaborate with the art team and develop relationships with illustrators and photographers through effective commissioning.

Main Duties…

  • Support the Creative Director and Art Director in creating engaging layouts for all four titles.
  • Execute the creative vision with innovative design ideas.
  • Propose creative improvements to help the titles stay competitive.
  • Design compelling, on-brand layouts that stand out.
  • Perform colour correction and basic retouching as needed.
  • Collaborate with editors and departments to keep content fresh and innovative.
  • Maintain consistency across all brand elements.
  • Source or commission illustrations and still life photography when required.
  • Manage workflow to ensure smooth operations.
  • Mentor and train junior team members.
  • Conduct final checks on pages and proofs with attention to detail.
  • Work with the art and production teams to meet deadlines.
  • Stay informed about market trends and innovations.
  • Represent Hearst UK and its values professionally.
