Overview
In this role you will craft engaging lifestyle and entertainment content across Hearst UK's brands, supporting Best Magazine, Inside Soap and Digital Spy. You will work within a fast-paced editorial team to source stories, coordinate events and podcasts, and build strong industry relationships. Your work will span print and digital, bringing celebrity, fashion and lifestyle coverage to life for diverse audiences. You will contribute to content that is fresh, commercially vibrant and aligned with Hearst UK's brands and values.

Responsibilities
- Create lifestyle content for Digital Spy (up to three stories per day as needed)
- Produce the weekly Style Watch page for Inside Soap and support lifestyle content for Best magazine
- Assist in planning and delivering Entertainment portfolio events and Inside Soap Goodie Bags
- Coordinate competitions: approvals, entry mechanics and deadlines
- Support production of the Suddenly Single podcast: guest logistics and release forms
- Handle day-to-day editorial administration: commissioning, invoicing, editorial resources
- Build/maintain relationships with PRs and media contacts to source content and opportunities
- Represent Hearst UK brands at press events and launches; act as brand ambassador
Key requirements
- Strong knowledge of celebrity culture, entertainment, fashion and lifestyle trends
- Experience writing engaging, accurate and commercially aware editorial content for print and digital
- Knowledge of social media platforms and creating resonant content
- Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Attention to detail with proofreading and fact-checking
- Confident in building relationships with PRs, agencies and industry contacts
- Proactive, enthusiastic, collaborative approach; willing to support events and editorial projects
- Experience with editorial content management systems; proficiency in Censhare (highly desirable)
- Strong administrative skills: invoicing, commissioning processes, editorial administration
