b Overview /b p In this role you create platform-native video for Hearst UK’s premium brands, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, on-brand content. You’ll shape narratives with pacing, music, and graphics, and use audience data to refine outputs across editorial and commercial work. The position blends hands-on editing with problem-solving to elevate storytelling for social, editorial, and branded campaigns. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to high-quality productions that resonate with diverse audiences. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li Wellbeing resources and health support /li li Cycle to work and gym discounts /li li Location flexibility and holiday exchange /li li Charity day and volunteering opportunities /li li Pension and financial wellbeing options /li li Employee discounts and perks via Hearst app /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Edit diverse premium video content for editorial, social, brand partnerships, events, and campaigns across Hearst UK brands /li li Collaborate with producers, journalists, directors, art directors and commercial teams to translate briefs into compelling videos /li li Own projects from ingest to final delivery, ensuring they meet creative, technical and brand standards /li li Shape stories with pacing, narrative structure, music, sound design and motion graphics /li li Create platform-optimised edits for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and emerging channels /li li Apply colour correction, audio balancing and quality control for broadcast-quality finishes /li li Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail /li li Use audience insights and performance data to refine creative decisions and improve engagement /li li Collaborate with Video and Editorial teams to support productions and improve output /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Proven experience editing high-quality video with Adobe Premiere Pro /li li Working knowledge of After Effects; experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign /li li Experience creating content for consumer-facing brands, publishers, agencies or media organisations /li li Strong understanding of video storytelling, pacing and visual narrative /li li Knowledge of platform-specific editing styles for TikTok, Instagram, Meta and YouTube /li li Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines /li li Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work /li li Collaborative approach with stakeholders across the business /li li Curious and proactive about learning new techniques and trends in digital video production /li /ul ul li Collaborative /li li Curious /li li Proactive /li li Adobe Premiere Pro /li li Adobe After Effects /li li Photoshop /li /ul
