As our Travel Partnerships Executive you will play an integral role in delivering the Brand Plans for Hearst UK’s biggest brands. Working with a high degree of entrepreneurialism and autonomy, you will take full end-to-end ownership of planning, securing, and delivering commercial partnerships within the travel category, in order to hit agreed revenue KPIs that both enhance the member experience and drive commercial revenue. You will act as a key connector between editorial, customer, and commercial teams, playing a critical role in maintaining and accelerating the growth momentum of brands across our portfolios.
Main Duties- Travel Partnerships
- End-to-end ownership of planning, securing and delivering commercial member/customer travel offers to hit agreed revenue KPIs.
- Lead the negotiation of profitable partnerships that enhance the member experience and align with (and amplify) brand plans.
- Shape compelling, compliant propositions and communications, manage timelines, and ensure accurate budgeting, reporting and forecasting.
- Proactively build and maintain relationships with key travel industry contacts, identifying new opportunities and keeping relevant Hearst stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Relationship Development
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal teams and external travel partners (hotels, tour operators, airlines, tourist boards and PR agencies) to develop experiences that reflect each brand’s positioning and audience needs.
- Marketing Planning & Delivery
- Work closely with central design, production and marketing planning teams to schedule and deliver promotions that maximise revenue.
- Manage collateral end-to-end, including copy, approvals, asset management and deadlines.
- Ensure full and accurate reporting on booked and received revenue.
- Establish a clear process with partners and Finance so Hearst UK has visibility of expected revenue and payments, based on booking volumes and departure dates.
- Legal & Contracting
- Partner with Legal to ensure contracts and delivery are commercially optimised and fully compliant (including data management, labelling, and delivery of agreed contractual elements).
- Experience Design & Delivery
- Collaborate with customer, editorial and events teams to ensure all member/customer touchpoints are brand-worthy and optimised for conversion, cross-sell, and feedback/data capture.
- Attend selected branded trips as a Hearst ambassador, helping to ensure smooth delivery and a great member experience.
- Work closely with PD/MD, the Membership Director (CL), the Client Partner for Travel and wider commercial teams to ensure clarity of ownership, joined-up planning and no duplication.
- Wider Brand Partnerships
- Support PD/MD, the Membership Director (CL), and wider commercial and editorial teams to identify and cultivate profitable partnership opportunities outside of travel, as required, to help deliver agreed KPIs.
- Financial Planning, Budgeting & Business Planning
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and business plans, working closely with senior leadership to ensure forecasts, priorities and commercial plans are clear, realistic and trackable.
- Experience in business administration, promotions, marketing, or a similar field (essential), ideally within the media industry.
- Exposure to the travel industry and/or an existing network of contacts (desirable).
- Experience supporting the planning and delivery of events (desirable).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market trends and consumer/audience insights and turn them into action (essential).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage, influence and align stakeholders at all levels (essential).
- Proven experience in sales development and revenue generation, with a commercial mindset and track record of delivering results (essential).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting quickly to change (essential).
