Hearst UK operates an in office policy with flexible Fridays. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James's, London, SW1Y 4AJ, where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.
Salary - £50,000 - £55,000 - Salary is dependent on experience and will be assessed in line with the candidate’s skills, knowledge, and relevant expertise.
The Role… Hearst UK is looking for an editor to join its branded content team, Hearst Made. Supporting on campaigns for Hearst’s wellness portfolio and supporting on other brands and topics where required. You will be responsible for the creation and delivery of quality content (both print and digital) to fulfil branded commercial campaigns across Men’s Health, Women’s Health and Runner’s World while maintaining Hearst’s standards of excellence. This role requires a strong understanding of Hearst’s wellness brands, and what makes them unique. As Branded Content Editor, you’ll need to be a fast and highly skilled editor and writer with a keen eye for detail, and a passion for creating best-in-class content. As well as working closely with teams across Growth, Brand and Commercial Operations, you will also be required to collaborate with key internal creative Content teams to create engaging video, social, digital and print content. This role requires excellent time management skills, and the ability to handle client feedback with a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude.
Main Duties…
- Manage the creation and delivery of multi-platform commercial content campaigns across print, digital and video, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with commercial and growth teams to interpret client briefs and develop innovative content strategies that meet campaign objectives.
- Write, edit and oversee high-quality branded content across digital and print, ensuring alignment with client goals, editorial standards and brand guidelines.
- Commission and manage freelance contributors, providing clear briefs, editing copy and ensuring timely delivery of content.
- Work closely with design, video and production teams to develop creative concepts, scripts, shoots and storytelling elements for commercial campaigns.
- Analyse campaign performance, monitor industry trends and competitor activity, and use insights to optimise content strategy and drive innovation.
What We Are Looking For…
- Strong understanding of branded content and experience delivering successful multi-platform commercial content campaigns from concept to completion.
- Excellent writing, editing and commissioning skills, with experience creating content for both print and digital platforms and working within CMS environments.
- Proven ability to develop creative content ideas and adapt strategies across multiple channels, including video, social and editorial content.
- Strong knowledge of SEO, social media strategy and content performance analysis, with experience using tools such as Looker.
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence working directly with clients, agencies and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work to tight deadlines and deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment; commercial or branded content experience is highly desirable.
