Hearst UK operate a hybrid working model of four days per week in the office and one day working from home. Our office is based at House of Hearst, 30 Panton Street, St James’s, London, SW1Y 4AJ, where teams collaborate in person and connect across brands and functions.

As Client Manager, Travel, you’ll play a central role in driving revenue, deepening strategic relationships and unlocking new commercial opportunities across a dynamic portfolio of travel brands.
Working closely with the Client Partner, Travel, you’ll take real ownership - not just supporting accounts, but actively growing them. You’ll lead the development and management of our reader offer partnerships, turning creative ideas into high-performing, revenue-generating activity that delivers genuine value for both clients and Hearst.
From first brief to final delivery, you’ll own the full sales cycle. You’ll interrogate challenges, spot white space, shape smart cross-platform solutions and build compelling, insight-led narratives that cut through. You’ll immerse yourself in your clients’ businesses and the wider travel landscape - understanding market dynamics, audience behaviour and competitive pressures - and translate that knowledge into strategies that drive measurable growth.
Internally, you’ll galvanise teams around your clients’ ambitions, ensuring seamless collaboration and best-in-class execution. Externally, you’ll build trusted, long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, confidently navigating negotiations, overcoming challenges and consistently raising the bar.
We’re looking for someone commercially sharp, highly organised and genuinely ambitious - someone who thrives on momentum, takes pride in ownership and is motivated by results. Main Duties- Own and grow Travel accounts end to end. Act as the go-to contact for your clients, taking a true 360° approach to account management - from campaign delivery to long-term partnership growth - ensuring exceptional service and measurable value at every stage.
- Build powerful relationships. Develop and deepen connections with travel clients directly and via PR and media agencies, earning trusted-partner status by understanding their business, challenges and ambitions inside out.
- Drive revenue with intent. Create smart account strategies, identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and take clear responsibility for hitting revenue targets - including leading the growth and success of our Reader Offers product.
- Run the sales cycle like a pro. Take full ownership of pipeline management through Salesforce and other tools, keeping opportunities moving and data accurate, with zero surprises.
- Be the strategic connector. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Portfolio Directors, galvanising internal teams around client objectives and ensuring seamless delivery.
- Turn insight into action. Monitor performance, sales metrics and market trends, providing clear reporting and commercial recommendations that unlock new opportunities and strengthen accounts.
- A proven revenue driver. You’ve built and grown partnerships, ideally including direct annual client deals and contracted activity, and you know how to turn opportunity into long-term revenue.
- A media expert with commercial instinct. You understand the media landscape inside out - channels, trends, audiences and best practice - and can bring it all together into smart, cross-media strategies that deliver results.
- Travel sector experience that gives you an edge. You’ve sold into the travel industry before and bring a network you can activate to unlock new business for Hearst.
- A relationship powerhouse. You build trust fast, manage senior stakeholders (internal and external) with confidence, negotiate brilliantly, handle challenges calmly, and always protect long-term partnerships while delivering real value.
