Summary
We are seeking a Transport Operations Planner to join our dynamic team at Hearn's Coaches Ltd. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the coach hire industry or similar and will have previous involvement in allocations and scheduling. You will be responsible for the efficient planning and allocation of all coach hire bookings to available drivers and vehicles. This role requires someone with a strong background in transport operations, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Allocate coach hire bookings to drivers and vehicles efficiently and accurately
- Plan transport schedules in advance while maintaining flexibility for last-minute changes
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant transport regulations and internal policies
- Liaise with internal teams and subcontractors when necessary
- Maintain up-to-date records and schedules using internal systems
