WHO YOUâLL BE WORKING WITH:
Internal: Day-to-day, youâll report to the Senior New Business Manager, who will be responsible for establishing the long-term goals and strategy for the Senior New Business function, as well as assisting with daily outreach, targets, and tracking. Theyâll be on standby to support you with training, onboarding, establishing your KPIs and targetsâand, more importantly, be a buddy for any support or guidance you may need. Alongside the New Business Manager, youâll also have the opportunity to work closely with our fabulous Founder (Kez) whoâs deeply involved with the New Business function and will share their tips, tricks, and knowledge as well as Growth Director Erika who is a fountain of knowledge and keeps systems and processes well aligned to gain the results we need!
External: The role will also offer plenty of opportunities to connect with our fantastic clients and potential prospects via briefing calls, in-person meetings, pitches, events, and more.
WHATâS EXPECTED
Your duties will include but not be limited to the below:
- Manage new business requests across Heaps + Stacks â looping in relevant teams for ones that qualify and maintaining a great experience for those that donât.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to actively look for new opportunities within the industry to ensure smooth and successful transition from prospect to lead.
- Meet your weekly/monthly outreach targets for new prospects to help achieve the agencyâs long-term growth targets.
- Assist with the day-to-day upkeep of our CRM database to stay engaged with clients continuously.
- Track leads per week and other new business KPIs to ensure we are on track.
- Annual resetting of KPIs created collaboratively with the leadership team.
- Pitching to a selection of brand-new clients each week.
- Working with Creative to produce lead magnets and proactive pitches as a âhookâ.
- Be on the pulse of new business enquiries leads â and be checking in with all warm leads quarterly sharing our most recent creds deck with them.
- Helping to organise and diarise new business meetings and events throughout the year.
- Be an ambassador for the Heaps + Stacks brand â showcasing our service offerings face to face â at live events, client meetings, on calls, etc.
- Support with credentials presentations and case studies.
- Reporting to the wider team on weekly leads and any exciting conversations.
- Encouraging new business to be a part of the business culture and teaching and supporting the wider team with integrating this into their roles.
ADMINISTRATION
- Facilitating and filing for NDA, company info for RFI and delivery of pitch documents when required.
- Managing the process of getting set up with new clients and any documentation they require.
- Ensuring the metric trackers are kept up to date and meeting notes and actions are accurately captured and monitored.
- Manage and maintain new business client database of leads, trackers and CRM system so we have accurate records of all opportunities and conversion metrics.
- Research new platforms or services we can use to help automate our new biz and marketing operations.
- Strategies, implement, and oversee processes for increased productivity and growth.
- Reporting to the wider business on new biz and marketing updates and successes.
- Work with managers to develop long-term strategic initiatives.
- Maintain a tidy, clean office environment and support with marketing contributions and financial administration as required.
SALARY & TIME COMMITMENT
This role is predominantly office based (we imagine at least 2/3rds of your time would be in the office) and we are ideally looking for someone to work full time. Salary would range between ÂŁ40,000 â ÂŁ45,000 depending on experience, plus additional commission scheme. Please note we review salary regularly to make sure the team move in line with the business as well as their individual efforts!

WHAT YOU MIGHT HAVE DONE BEFORE
To be considered for this position we are looking for candidates with 4 years min experience working as a Business Development Executive or relevant role at a similar creative business.

Tuesdays are days we ask people to come in, and weâve realised that 2-3 days per week in the office is the average that people come in and that works well.
- Flexi Working Times â The team can work their 7.5 hours with a start and finish that suits them. This is completely up to the teammate to decide on their own accord, but of course altered working hours must not disrupt the wider team or the paying client.
- Meeting Free Fridays â This is to give the team time to wrap up their work as well as a good amount of time, uninterrupted, to get stuck into deep work.
- Training â We are proud to offer training to all teammates including group training days with varying themes and topics, as well as offering teammates further training to upskill for the maximum value of ÂŁ500 per year.
- Duvet Days â Our team have 2 duvet days per year. A duvet day can be taken whenever a teammate needs a day off at random and they havenât already requested annual leave.
- Volunteering Day â We offer teammates up to 2 days per year of volunteering on company time â which is up to the teammate to use how they wish.
- Holiday â We offer 28 days annual leave per year. With 3 days of this holiday entitlement to cover the period of the Company shutdown between Christmas and New Year. After a teammate has completed two years working at Heaps + Stacks, they are entitled to 1 day extra holiday per year for each additional year of service, capped at a maximum of 33 days holiday per year.
