Finance Assistant (temporary to permanent)

Bury St Edmunds

Β£13 - Β£15 per hour

Full or Part-Time

A growing business is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to support its busy finance function.

This will initially be a temporary assignment for 3 months with a view to the role being made permanent if successful.

This is a varied role that would suit someone with experience in purchase ledger, sales ledger, bookkeeping or finance admin who enjoys being involved in multiple areas of a business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
  • Maintaining purchase and sales ledger records
  • Assisting with payment runs and bank reconciliations
  • Managing purchase orders and supplier relationships
  • Supporting month-end and year-end activities
  • Resolving invoice and supplier queries
  • Assisting with budget and reporting processes
  • Providing general administrative support as required

About You

  • Previous finance, accounts or office administration experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel and finance systems
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and meet
