A prestigious Cambridge-based organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join its finance team during an exciting period of growth and transformation. This is a highly visible role offering the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders, lead key financial processes, and play a central role in a forthcoming finance systems implementation project. You'll join a supportive finance team and have the chance to influence both strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Role
- Production and review of monthly management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Variance analysis and insightful reporting to stakeholders
- Business partnering across multiple departments
- Cash flow reporting and financial analysis
- Supporting process improvements and finance transformation initiatives
- Line management and development of two finance team members
- Contributing to a major finance system implementation project
About You
We're keen to hear from candidates who offer:
- Strong management accounting experience
- Budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting expertise
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Previous team leadership, supervisory or mentoring experience
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT or strong QBE background considered
