We're looking for a proactive Finance & IT Assistant to join an established company in Cambridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong IT skills who wants to develop their career while gaining exposure to IT support, business operations and finance administration.
No experience is required just a willingness to learn.
This would suit a recent graduate in IT, Accounting, Business Management or similar degrees.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with purchase orders.
- Process invoices and staff expense.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Support supplier management, invoice processing, software license tracking, and IT budget administration.
- Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Set up and maintain user accounts, devices, and access permissions.
- Support Microsoft 365, cloud services, and IT infrastructure.
- Assist with cybersecurity, compliance, and data protection requirements.
- Support IT projects, system upgrades, and software implementations.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset registers, and user guides.
- Assist with the development and rollout of AI tools and user training.
- Deliver basic IT training to staff and new starters.
About You
- Good understanding of IT systems, Microsoft 365, and Windows.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Awareness of IT and cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with administration, invoicing, or finance support.
- Strong Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
