Electrician Bedford based (with travel across Beds, Oxon, Cambs, Bucks and surrounding areas) £competitive salary + Van + 25 Days Holiday + Bonus + pension contribution.

On behalf of a highly successful and established main contractor, we are looking for a fully qualified and experienced Electrician to join our growing team working across housing and commercial projects from Oxford to Cambridge. This is a hands-on role involving 1st fix, 2nd fix, testing, inspection, fault finding, and final commissioning ready for handover. You will be working closely with site teams while also being confident working independently.

As part of a small team, duties will include:

  • Carry out 1st and 2nd fix electrical installations.
  • Attending residential properties to repair and maintain electrical installations and appliances.
  • Conduct EICR Test & Inspect works on occupied properties and new build commercial sites.
  • Small-scale installation works.
  • Identify and report additional defects to the Defects Manager.
  • Communicate effectively with site teams.
  • Work collaboratively while maintaining high standards.

About You:

  • Hold 2391 Test & Inspect qualification.
  • JIB Gold Card (or equivalent).
  • Have minimum 4 years previous experience as a qualified electrician.
  • Be available to work Monday – Friday, full-time.
  • Hold full UK driving licence.
