Assistant Site Manager – Main Contractor (Oxfordshire) Salary: Competitive + package (car allowance, bonus, pension, CPD, 25 days holiday + bank holidays) We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join a leading main contractor, working on £multi-million new build and refurbishment projects across Oxfordshire. The first project you’ll be part of is a high-spec technical facility for a global organisation, where you’ll join a high-performing site team to deliver the programme, quality, and safety to the highest standards. With a strong pipeline of future projects, our client also offers clear progression opportunities, supporting the right candidate to progress into a Site Manager role within an agreed timeframe. The Role As an Assistant Site Manager, you will: * Support the Senior Site Manager in the day-to-day running of site operations. * Help deliver programme, quality, and safety targets. * Work closely with design and commercial teams to problem solve and achieve objectives. * Build strong working relationships with trade supervisors and subcontractors. What We’re Looking For * A construction background with a genuine enthusiasm for the built environment. * A driven, hands-on individual keen to learn and progress. * Strong communication and teamwork skills, aligned with company values of collaboration and problem solving. * Preferably hold SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid certifications. (the company will arranged for thies to be obtained if not already held). * Qualification in construction (HNC/D/BSc) or equivalent experience. * Full UK driving licence required.
