Slingshot AI is the team behind Ash, the first AI designed for mental health. Our mission is to make support more accessible and help people change their lives in the ways they want. We’re building a world-class team by empowering individuals with the autonomy, flexibility, and support they need to do their best work. We dream big, iterate fast, and care deeply.

Our team spans machine learning, product, engineering, conversational design, clinical, growth, and operations, with offices in both New York City and London. We're a well-funded Series A company, having raised $93M from top-tier tech investors.

The role involves running the full loop from the angle to the paying user and building a system that makes it repeatable. This is a hands-on role by design, where one strong operator can outproduce a small studio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the creative engine end to end: angle, concept, copy, production, launch, read, iterate.
  • Build the system that makes it repeatable, including testing cadence, angle library, naming and tagging, and a bank of real user language.
  • Produce statics and video yourself on the AI stack, ensuring a steady flow of creative output.
  • Write hooks, headlines, overlays, and scripts in the voice of the target audience.
  • Run creative across networks and tailor content for each platform.
  • Take the read from creative through the web funnel to paying users, adapting the funnel to fit the creative.
  • Work closely with media buying, managing accounts and data.
  • Source outside supply where it beats making it internally: creators, UGC, editors, on-camera talent.
  • Set the visual and verbal point of view for Ash in the market.

About you:

  • Years of experience making performance creative in demanding categories such as subscription apps, gaming, health and fitness, or dating.
  • Experience in scaling creative supply from close to zero to high volume monthly output.
  • Ability to write performance copy at a high level.
  • Familiarity with the AI production stack and its tools.
  • Experience across multiple ad networks and understanding of their creative demands.
  • Knowledge of the entire path from the first frame to the paying user.
  • Experience leading a creative team and adapting to new tooling.
  • Ability to set up clean tests and read results honestly.
  • Strong taste and the ability to defend it.
  • A genuine interest in working on mental health.

Nice to have:

  • Experience challenging media buyers based on personal buying experience.
  • Experience building or reshaping web funnels and landing pages.
  • Experience building or running a creator or UGC pipeline.

We care much more about the work than the CV. Expect to discuss your creative work, tests run, and outcomes, along with completing a short paid exercise against a live Ash brief.

What we offer includes a chance to join a passionate team, competitive compensation, travel between our NYC and London offices, and usual startup perks like free lunch and coffee in the office.
