We are looking for a highly structured, detail-oriented Food Production Manager to lead our central kitchen operations with a strong focus on compliance, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all food production processes to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality, safe products.

Maintain strict adherence to SALSA accreditation standards, health & safety policies, and food hygiene regulations (HACCP, COSHH, etc.).

Ensure all production activities are well-documented and follow clear standard operating procedures.

Supervise and coach kitchen staff, promoting accountability, structure, and attention to detail at every level.

Manage and optimise daily production schedules to meet both retail and wholesale demand.

Monitor stock levels, manage ordering, and reduce waste through careful planning and control.

Proactively identify and resolve operational issues, ensuring all kitchen systems run smoothly and safely.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement and food safety excellence.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

Minimum 3 years experience in food production management or a similar central kitchen leadership role.

Demonstrated experience in a SALSA or BRC-accredited environment is highly desirable.

Meticulously organised with strong planning and documentation skills.

Deep understanding of food safety legislation and safe working practices.

A clear communicator who leads by example and holds teams to high standards.

Strong leadership and decision-making skills in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
