Your Role as a Care Assistant:
As a Care Assistant placed with one of our client care homes, you will be essential in providing person-centred care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate support with personal care, washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assisting with mobility and using equipment safely.
- Helping with mealtimes to ensure a positive and nutritional experience.
- Building rapport and offering companionship, promoting emotional wellbeing.
- Engaging individuals in social and recreational activities.
- Monitoring and reporting any changes in a person's condition to the senior team.
- Maintaining accurate care records in line with company policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- A compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a professional attitude.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (which we can apply for).
- The right to work in the UK.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a care setting is highly desirable, but we welcome applications from individuals with a genuine passion for care, including those looking for a career change.
- An NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is advantageous but not essential.
