Childrens Home Manager
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Childrens Home Manager to lead a residential childrens home and provide outstanding care to young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

The role
As Childrens Home Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day to day running of the home. You will lead and develop the staff team, ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations, and deliver high quality care and outcomes for children and young people.
Key responsibilities include
Overall management of the childrens home
Leadership, supervision, and development of the staff team
Ensuring the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards
Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Care planning, risk management, and quality assurance
Budget management and effective use of resources
Building positive relationships with placing authorities, families, and external professionals
About you
You will be a confident and resilient leader with a genuine passion for residential childcare. You will be able to balance compliance with compassionate, child centred care.
Essential requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or working towards
At least 2 years experience in a leadership role within a childrens residential setting
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding frameworks
Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
