About The Role

This role involves maintaining high operational standards, supporting inventory accuracy, fulfilling customer orders, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. Candidates must demonstrate adaptability, physical fitness, and a commitment to compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Requirements (essential)

  • Exceptional accuracy and reliability in all tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in numeracy with solid IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Physically fit to handle manual tasks and work in multi-temperature environments.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to adapt to evolving work demands.
  • Willing to travel to our off-site facility to deliver and retrieve packaging goods.

  • HSE Warehousing and Storage - A guide to Health and Safety HSG76 (HSE).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain good housekeeping to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
  • Promoting efficient working methods and highlighting inefficiencies within the Pharmacy stock control area.
  • Support inventory control methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Organizing transfers and loading goods where appropriate.
  • Promote and maintain high pharmacy standards.
  • Clean and maintain the Pharmacy receipt, storage, and goods-out areas.
  • Pick orders from storage and deliver them to packing areas or the loading bay for transportation.
  • Pack products into containers, ensuring they are properly sealed and protected for delivery.
  • Ensure orders are correctly packaged and labelled to prevent returns.
  • Load and unload stock and orders by hand, trolley, or pallet.
  • Check for damaged or missing items and sort stock for storage in the Pharmacy.
  • Take goods to appropriate storage spaces, following the FEFO procedure.
  • Rearrange stock to ensure safe storage and optimal organization.
  • Be willing to work in multi-temperature environments, including ambient, chilled, and freezer areas.
  • Ability to carry out manual handling of light goods as an essential requirement.
  • Perform various ad-hoc tasks, including processing orders via e-Pharmacy/IQ.
