About the role:
We seek a skilled & results-driven Demand and Supply Planning Manager with experience in healthcare, beauty, or pharmaceutical industries. You will oversee and optimise our demand forecasting and supply planning processes, balancing demand, inventory, and supplier relationships to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This role is critical for aligning demand planning with our suppliers, requiring strong analytical skills, procurement and supply chain knowledge, and excellent communication to collaborate across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Forecasting and demand planning across all suppliers
- Developing and managing relationships with key suppliers to align with company goals
- Monitoring supplier performance against quality, delivery, and cost targets
- Providing analytics on sales vs inventory, coverage, stock risk, and spend
- Optimising lead times, managing inventory, and improving delivery through supplier collaboration
- Owning S+OP to ensure cross-functional alignment and product availability
- Managing movement of goods between operational sites to meet customer demand
- Evaluating and selecting supply chain solutions and partners
- Using data insights to drive continuous improvement in supply chain metrics
- Collaborating with sales & marketing for demand forecasting
- Working with suppliers to improve lead times, quality, and inventory levels
- Acting as liaison between procurement, sales, marketing, and operations
- Managing supplier approval processes ensuring quality and compliance
- Reviewing and updating the product range based on market trends
- Aligning procurement objectives with strategic goals
Requirements:
- Proven leadership in procurement and supply chain operations with continuous improvement focus
- Knowledge of GDP activities and global supply chain regulations post-Brexit
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
- Leadership capabilities including mentoring and motivating teams
- Willingness to commute across all company facilities
