About The Role
We are looking to secure a talented Pharmacist to work as part of our dynamic team, meeting KPI’s and assuring adherence to internal and external compliance standards.
Good communication, organizational skills and a flexible approach will be a priority as there will be close collaboration with senior management, internal team members and external bodies.
Knowledge of GDP and GMP requirements, along with Pharmacy Hub experience will be preferable.
Responsibilities
- Pharmacist coverage as per site requirements, providing a willingness to support and cover for other team members as required to provide a seamless service to the business.
- Work closely with the Pharmacist Manager and Superintendent Pharmacist to deliver KPI’s, implement company strategy and monitor performance accordingly.
- Stand in for the pharmacy manager and comply with all GPh C and GDP activities, as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality management system, regulations and guidelines relating to regulatory and professional bodies.
- When required, manage, plan and deliver internal Training requirements, ensuring that the key deliverables are communicated and actioned.
- Liaise with suppliers and other partners as required. Involvement with inventory management, layout and work flow so as to maximize accuracy, sales and profit.
- Where necessary, manage costs and overheads, and all factors affecting profitable performance.
- Attend meetings and contribute to company strategy and policymaking as required.
- Develop personal skills and capability through on-going training.
- Where necessary, demonstrate flexibility during the working week.
- Managing a pharmacy team in the absence of pharmacy manager as required.
- GDP Site Contact Specific Responsibilities/Duties (Reading)
- Adhere to the QMS, SOP’s and other controlled documents.
- Managing authorized activities and maintaining the accuracy and quality of records.
- Ensuring that initial and continuous training is implemented and maintained.
- Coordinating and promptly performing any recall operations for medicinal products.
- Ensuring that all safety complaints (Pharmacovigilance and Product Quality Complaints) are dealt with effectively.
- Participate in regulatory and self-inspections as required.
- Keeping appropriate records of any delegated duties.
- Where appropriate, deciding on the final disposition of returned, rejected, recalled or falsified products.
Requirements
- GPh C Registered Pharmacist.
- Must be able to work collaboratively and to develop strong, positive working relationships.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Excellent written, verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Team player.
- Ability to prioritise and have a flexible approach to managing workload and tasks.
- Maintains professional training and CPD requirements.
