Purpose of Role: To ensure the smooth and effective running of all aspects of Healthwatch Bucks’ delivery. Work with the Chief Executive to review, maintain, and update policies and procedures and ensure organisational compliance. Maintain HR and other records in line with agreed policies and legal requirements. Provide effective administrative support for the recruitment, onboarding, induction, training, and departure of staff, volunteers, and directors. Oversee a professional, courteous, and empathetic signposting service for people seeking health and social care information. Ensure that all staff, volunteers, and directors can use data, information, and record-keeping systems appropriately and comply with policies and procedures, including Data Protection, confidentiality, and GDPR. Act as the central point of contact for volunteers, helping to facilitate positive relationships between volunteers and staff and ensuring volunteers remain engaged in the wider work of the organisation. Deputise for the Chief Executive at agreed meetings and forums.
