- Founder or entrepreneurial mindset, or direct experience as a technical founder.
- Strong focus on high‑quality, highly maintainable code that scales.
- Accountable for end‑to‑end solutions, building products able to handle NHS “oddities.”
- Knowledge of distributed system risks, ensuring fail‑safe code.
- Comfort with autonomy, responsibility, and building impactful solutions.
- Tech Environment
- Full‑stack development with a backend focus, using Type Script or similar.
- API design: creating and consuming scalable, well‑structured services.
- Data: working with production systems and performance considerations.
- Experience scaling products in high‑stakes domains (health, finance, infrastructure) is a strong advantage.
