Mission
Unlock access by making every appointment within the NHS transparent and bookable.
What You’ll Own
- Supply of appointments: Become a trusted guardian of GP practice’s most precious resource — appointments. Your team will be responsible for getting access to appointments for new patients.
- Demand for appointments: Build an experience that patients love on bookable.health and integrate with NHS app and practice websites.
- Market acceptance: Listen to NHS voices, create insight with data, and adapt product to address genuine concerns.
Your 30 / 60 / 90 Day Plan
By day 30: Understand our users, read up on the NHS, spend a week as a GP practice receptionist to understand what patients want and need, deep dive all our data sources and make recommendations for how we can improve what data we collect, speak with over 200 patients that have used bookable to understand how patients experience our products, discover things about our users we don’t know yet, implement a thoughtful change to one part of the patient or NHS staff experience. Outcome: You’ve made thoughtful choice about what to improve, shipped your first experiment, analysed the data and specced the next iteration.
By day 60: Align the team, agree strategy with Raj and Rupert for the next cycle (2‑month work blocks), turn strategy into written logic for engineers to follow, run a workshop with the product team to align them on the roadmap for the next 8 weeks, spec the first few weeks’ worth of projects. Outcome: Product teams are aligned towards the end state.
By day 90: Move the needle, work intensely with engineers to hit the goals, provide detailed specs for engineers at least 2 weeks ahead of deployment, quality assure what has been shipped, motivate and inspire your team. Outcome: Have significantly moved at least 2 key platform metrics.
Must Have Traits
- Insights from building marketplaces: bring knowledge of what worked in other environments and apply it to UK healthcare.
- Exceptional with data: audit and find errors, fluent in Google Ads, SEO tools, Posthog, Metabase.
- Turn vision into clear logic: persuasive, create alignment on what needs to be built.
- Love speaking to patients and practices for insights: excited to talk to users and make time for it.
Required Experience
- 6+ years building product in a fast‑moving environment
