We're unlocking access to the NHS, because healthcare is not truly free until it's truly accessible. The world’s best healthcare, for free. It's not a new idea, it's called the NHS. But the largest healthcare provider is fundamentally broken. Patient satisfaction is at an all-time low, and the biggest reason cited is lack of access. So we’re on a mission to fix it with technology that actually works.

We're building the front door of UK healthcare, creating a future where one billion NHS appointments are transparent and instantly bookable, and patients are guided to the right service first time using AI. We're developing critical national infrastructure. Today, 26% of GP practices in England use our patient registration software, while one in five GP practices in London use Bookable Search to help new patients find and book appointments seamlessly. Our latest product, Bookable Navigator, extends this vision by automatically booking appointments for existing patients.

We operate from within a working GP practice in East London. We're backed by Y Combinator, Innovate UK and the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme, and were previously ranked the 8th fastest-growing startup in the UK and 33rd fastest-growing in Europe.

Goal expectations

As our Founding GTM Operations, you’ll own the tooling and data that lets Healthtech-1 scale across the NHS. You’ll work closely across the GTM teams, deploy internal tooling with AI, turn Attio into our source of truth, and build an intelligent GTM motion on top. This is an IC role, not a people management role.

  • Objective 1: Keep systems and data running at a high standard. You will own and maintain Attio (our CRM), including its infrastructure, workflows and data hygiene across accounts and products. You will also own all our GTM tooling (e.g. Aircall, Calendly, Granola) and keep them running and improving.
  • Objective 2: Give the team and leadership clear visibility. You will build and maintain dashboards tracking company growth, cycle targets and product adoption. You will own reporting on practice numbers and growth trends.
  • Objective 3: Enable the growth team to sell more. You will build and maintain quality lead lists for AEs. You will support AEs with operational queries, targets and tooling.
  • Objective 4: Drive operational improvement. You will find and build automations and workflow improvements that save the team time.

This role is not for everyone

This is a high-ownership, high-expectation role. You'll be working in a fast-moving healthtech environment where accuracy, speed, and proactivity all matter at the same time.

You probably won't enjoy this role if you:

  • Prefer to be told what to do over figuring out what to do
  • Treat ops as a support function rather than a growth lever
  • Aren't comfortable getting your hands dirty with data
  • Are content to maintain the status quo rather than improve it
  • Have never built things with AI

You will enjoy this role if you like owning systems end-to-end, building and deploying things with AI, and making the people around you more effective.

Required experience

  • 2+ years in a revenue operations role in an early-stage startup, where you've owned systems, data and process improvement
  • Experience with Attio (or similar CRMs like HubSpot, Salesforce)

Must-have traits

  • Great with AI - you know how to leverage AI well, whilst thoroughly checking accuracy
  • Detail oriented - you’re obsessed with the detail and CRM being the source of truth
  • Love data - you can build dashboards, spot trends, and make data useful for decision-making
  • Proactive problem solver - you don't wait for someone to flag a problem; you find it and fix it end-to-end.
  • Bias to action - you ship improvements quickly rather than over-planning
  • Team player - low ego, approachable and feedback-oriented; you get a kick from seeing the impact your work has on unlocking the sales team
  • Clear communicator - you keep stakeholders informed without being chased

Desired traits

  • Comfortable with data scraping, enrichment tools and light automation (e.g. Zapier, Make, scripts)
  • Experience building dashboards and reports (e.g. Metabase, Looker, Google Sheets)
  • Familiarity with sales tooling (Calendly, Aircall, or equivalents)
  • Experience writing operational playbooks or onboarding materials

The hiring process (4 stages)

  • Intro chat - with our Talent Partner, to learn more about each other
  • CV & work experience deep dive - with our hiring manager, to understand your career journey
  • An in-office work trial - work with the growth team on a real problem [half day, fully paid]
  • Principles interview - with a Founder, to understand that our values align

A bit about us

We’re all NHS staff. We’re inside-outsiders. Trusted with one of the biggest datasets in the world. Our office is within a GP practice. This is our unfair advantage. We highly prioritise in-person communication and prefer candidates who want to work 4+ days a week in the office.

We care about building a product that is loved and a culture that is rich in perspectives, experiences, and backgrounds. Our team represents more than ten different cultures. We come together every lunch time for a home cooked meal, rotated among team members! We want everyone in our team to know that they belong.
