We’re on a mission to make NHS the most advanced healthcare system by building technology that works. Our first product, Automated Registrations, is used by 24% of GP practices. As the founding designer, you’ll simplify the complex of 220+ patient services into a seamless, bookable experience.

Goal Expectations

  • Supply of appointments – design a practice‑facing experience that makes it easy to provide appointments and gives practices a sense of control.
  • Demand for appointments – design a highly converting patient experience on bookable.health that builds trust.
  • Market acceptance – create clarity so patients understand each decision point and retain higher than GP‑practice‑site bookings.

30/60/90 Day Plan

  • By day 30 – Read up on NHS, spend a week in a GP reception, speak with 200+ bookable users, redesign one part of the booking flow and ship it.
  • By day 60 – Ship two more improvements, create an end‑state unified patient experience, produce corresponding marketing content.
  • By day 90 – Redesign the practice hub (settings, analytics), create a unified onboarding across all products, ensuring coherence and readiness for scale.

  • Passionate about user research – love speaking to patients and practices.
  • Expertise in accessible, mobile‑first design for low‑literacy, multi‑lingual patients.
  • Data‑savvy – use analytics and A/B tests to iterate on design.
  • Autonomous – drive design from metric to execution without constant instruction.
