We are seeking a highly motivated receptionist who has exceptional communication, time management, and customer service skills to fill this casual position at Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital. A comprehensive orientation to the hospital and to the role will be provided.

Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital is a private, 64 bed Rehabilitation hospital that prides itself on a high standard of patient care. Located in Hove, near Brighton/Glenelg, we offer both inpatient and day patient therapy. Employment is under the Health Professionals & Support Services Award.

Key responsibilities:

  • Rostered casual shifts (minimum of 2 shifts a week, or 15.0 hours)
  • Potential to increase hours of work to cover annual and sick leave requires some flexibility
  • Answering and directing reception phone calls, greeting/directing visitors, assisting with and directing enquiries
  • Word processing and management of patient discharge summaries
  • Multiskilling to other general administration tasks and medical record management
  • Commitment to quality patient care
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
