Assistant in Nursing

• Southport location – close to public transport
• $32.19 – $35.30 per hour + super + 23% casual loading

This is an exciting career opportunity to work as an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) as part of our dynamic nursing team at Gold Coast Private. You will work in partnership with support networks and a multidisciplinary team, to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties.
• Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters.
• Shift times will be 0730 – 1200 or 1500 – 1900, with the potential to be longer 8‑hour shifts depending on workload.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Health Care from an approved training provider.
• Experience in a similar setting.
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication.
• Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work.
• Flexibility to manage shift work over 7 days.

Requirements

Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
